I don't think I can express how much I love my eno! I bought this hammock for a mission trip to Brazil, and I was a bit concerned seeing as how I had never slept overnight in one before. I slept like a baby! I now take it camping and choose it over sleeping in our RV in most cases. DEFINITELY a good buy :)

I've used pocket hammocks made of netting most of my teenage and adult life while camping and they're getting used as bear bags from now on, if used at all. I don't think additional straps for attaching this to a tree are necessary. I used 1 inch tubular nylon rope and 550 cord for attachment on this last camping trip with no issues. The hammock packs very easily in the attach stuff sack. I thought the material was going to be hot in the southeastern august heat and humidity, but it wasn't. The hammock is sturdy and durable. My wife, kids and I had no problems with them. My kids even used them as swings during the day. If the attached pouch only had velcro so items stored in it when the hammock was set up wouldn't fall out every once in a while after you got out then it would be perfect.

I am very pleased with my ENO hammock. We went backpacking this weekend and hooked the hammocks up next to a quiet stream--so peaceful! It's made from very thin material, so I put my egg-crate camping mat in the hammock for comfort and warmth during the chillier fall weather.
